I was originally getting these Ninja Swords by GlitZGlam for Halloween! But when they arrived that idea was thrown out the window. The boys just had to have them immediately. I barely pulled them out of the box and they attacked me!
I love how well they were packaged not only were they put in plastic but they were secured in place with paper. This way when shipping they couldn't break! I received all 3 swords a Blue, Pink & Green one. When the boys took them out of the package they couldn't get them to work. I laughed so hard!! Because I knew how to get them to work, but wanted to see them get frustrated. Seeing I barely had them in my hands before they snatched them from me. After about 5 minutes I finally said give them to me! I then showed them that they had to take the piece of plastic out from the slot in which stops the battery from touching. This way the batteries don't die.
All three swords worked exactly as described! They look exactly as pictured & are much brighter than I expected. When the lights off and its completely dark, the room lights up pink, blue & green! Plus the swords make a clanging sound when swinging them! This way when the boys are playing it sounds realistic. Exactly like a sword fight. The swords are nicely detailed, the knife area which I will say the tip of each sword is colored, but clear. And inside is a plastic pole in which lights up. Then where the handle starts there is a clear square which stops your hand from sliding up. Then the handle itself is black with a silver design. Overall these swords are very nice & will last a very long time! They do come with Batteries which are AA. You need 3 AA for each one if you need to change the batteries. The boys have been playing with them for a few days now. I would say at least 2-3 hours a day and they still light up and sound. And there still as bright! I have not ran across any issues at all.
I definitely recommend these Ninja Swords by GlitZGlam to anyone in the market looking to purchase something like this! The kids will love them and you will probably get in on the action I know I did. These are great for a Christmas present, birthday present, Halloween or just because.
