My Review For 500 Formulas For Aromatherapy: Mixing Essential Oils for Every Use!!!

This book gets straight to the point which is one of my favorite things I really liked about it....

500 Formulas for Aromatherapy is exactly what I expected it to be! In the beginning Carol & David Schiller give us the breakdown of the history of essential oils. They cut straight to the main points that are most important unlike others I have read that drag the history out. I dislike wasting time & would much rather get the info I need & move on.

I also enjoyed learning about combining scent & touch! And how scents can play a big role in our memory. Which makes sense because on numerous occasions I will get a whiff of ginger almost like a ginger bread smell. And immediately I remember being at my Great Grandmother's house. Its crazy how that works! I would have to say I really enjoyed reading chapter 2. As I learned a few things while reading. Chapter 3 touches base on the precautions we need to take while handling essential oils which some were helpful.

I really enjoyed the formulas provided in this book! And how they provided a few different recipes per formula. For example I want to make some air fresheners I have 20 different formulas I can pick from. Or I can easily just experiment & create my own scent! Which I am currently in the process of doing. I really like that before each recipe there is a short description of what steps you need to take. Overall I am very happy with this book. I found it to be very helpful! I recommend this to anyone with interest in aromatherapy.

I really enjoyed reading DIY Aromatherapy!! I learned a lot & found some recipes I never knew I could make...

I received this DIY Aromatherapy Book for FREE, in exchange for my honest & unbiased review.

I am really enjoying DIY Aromatherapy! Its packed with so much information & different ways to use essential oils. Chapter 1 really opened my eyes on what essential oils really are. Not only does it speak of essential oils history but also different ways you would extract oils from plants. Which is one thing I have always wondered about! Chapter 1 also explains precautions we need to take when handling the oils. They even give a list of essential oils banned by the FDA which really spoke volumes to me. When I read DIY books, I really enjoy complete honesty when reading! It allows me to trust everything else in those books. So once I seen that I was very happy! And really wanted to know more.

The reason I have began venturing into doing aromatherapy & using essential oils for everyday use, is because I want to live a healthier lifestyle. I am not saying a person isn't healthy if they don't use essential oils. I am just saying I want to live in a more clean environment! In my home I have control over the chemicals used in my home. With essential oils I can have a chemical free home while still enjoying the things I used before. In this DIY Aromatherapy book I found that I can save so much money making my own household cleaners by using water,vinegar & an the essential oil of my choice. Another thing that really stuck in my head when reading this book, is essential oils are cruelty free another thing I didn't know.

My favorite part of the DIY Aromatherapy book is all the different recipes! I mean there is literally a recipe for everything. For example scalp-stimulating conditioner, gas relief rub & basic burn gel recipes. I can make lotions to bath salts & even perfume! I could go on and on. Making my own home remedies using essential oils, I will not just be saving money but my home will be chemical free. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in aromatherapy. There is even a measurements conversion chart to help you determine the measurements for the recipes. References which include web addresses to a ton of websites you can refer to for either more information on essential oils & aromatherapy or more recipes. There is also a glossary along with the index in the back of the book!

My Review For CoverGirl Smoothers Liquid Make Up, Classic Ivory 710, 1 Ounce Package!!!

Its nice finally finding a liquid that goes on nicely & last all day!,

I've been using Covergirl for quite sometime! I don't have a light complexion nor a dark complexion. So its been a long road in finding the perfect tone of liquid for my face. I finally purchased the Classic Ivory #710 & I fell in love. First and foremost I love the thickness of this liquid. Its not runny at all!! This size container will last me a good 2 months or more & that's using it everyday. So its definitely worth the money I paid.

With Classic Ivory it covers all my faults perfectly without having to cake a ton of liquid on. The good thing about it being thicker & not so liquidy is that when applying the liquid it covers my dark circles, pimples & freckles. Blends in well! I love how when I apply my powder I don't get any discoloration, where some parts of my face look different. My makeup looks even & no visible lines on the edge of my face which is my biggest pet peeve. And it last all day unlike other liquids I have tried. Also I have noticed I no longer have dry patches! With the last liquid I was using my skin would become so dry, and when applying my makeup the dry skin was completely visible. I have not had that problem since using Covergirl Smoother's. Overall I am very pleased with Covergirl Smoother's.

I definitely recommend covergirl smoother's to anyone in the market looking to purchase something like this. You will not be disappointed! It even hides my aging spots on my face. That speaks volumes!!!

My Review For China Glaze Dash Of Dazzle 3 Piece Holiday Set!!!

My new found favorites....

I have a HUGE obsession with nail polish! I love sharing pictures of the different colors I do & designs. A friend of mine mentioned China Glaze is her favorite! Which I never even heard of China Glaze. I usually bought the dollar polishes or any polish that was on sale. My favorite was Sally Hansens Complete Manicure polishes or the Xtreme. I was in need of some new ones so I decided to look for some. I found some colors I wanted to try, BUT couldn't justify paying so much for one. And me end up not liking it!

I ran across this trio which includes "So Blue Without You", "Mingle With Kringle" & "Bells Will Be Blinging". I figured $8.39 is a decent price for 3 instead of paying $6 for one. And with the holidays coming these colors would be perfect. So I ordered them! When they arrived I was very pleased with the colors, they are so much prettier in person! When I began painting my nails, I was very pleased with not only the consistency of the polish (it wasn't runny or to thick). But the brush is not too wide or to thin, it was perfect! I was able to paint my nails & not get a ton of polish on my skin which was very nice. I also liked that I could do one coat & not have to do another unless I wanted too. With other polishes especially shimmery polishes I always had to do 2-3 coats till I couldn't see through my nails. But with these China Glaze polishes I could do one coat & leave it at that. I love the caps of the polish because its easy to hold while painting! Lastly I loved how quickly these polishes dried & I didn't end up sitting for 3-4 hours scared to get a smudge or a dent in the polish. Mind you I did run my fingers under cold water prior to painting, & after I painted to freeze dry the polish. And lastly the 3 colors together go very nicely when used all at once! I am very happy with this trio.

I tried finding something I didn't like, but there just wasn't anything at all that bothered me. The quality of this nail polish is amazing compared to others I have used. I am not an expert on nail polish by far, but have used quite a few brands to know quality when I see/use it. And I have to say overall, I am very pleased with these 3 nail polishes & now I am on the hunt to find some more colors I like. And can now justify paying so much for one.

I definitely recommend this 3 piece China Glaze Holiday Set! Perfect colors for the holidays or any day of the year. They would also make a really nice gift!

I love these tweezers...

I purchased these Tweezers at a discounted rate, in exchange for my honest & unbiased review. When I seen these I was like no they look cheap! I literally wasn't going to purchase them. BUT figured what do I have to lose,, right? They arrived exactly as pictured. The set of tweezers came in a nice quality canvas bag. And the canvas bag was inside of a very thick plastic zip lock bag. I thought the packaging alone was nice! & then I thought man they made the packaging this nice meaning the tweezers probably lack in quality. Boy was I wrong!

I have had this ingrown hair on my cheek for about 2 weeks. I get the piece of hair to peak out but every time I would grab it with my tweezers they would keep sliding. I couldn't get them to grip! Or I would pinch my cheek and boy does that hurt.

I then pulled out the hair removal tool which is very sharp, & you definitely need to be careful. I finally got that hair out. I even love the tweezers, they curve a little at the end, when closed its completely flat no space. Which told me when gripping a hair it would not slide out. They do not bend when squeezing either which tells me how well made they are. I used them on my sideburns, and my eye brows. Not once did the tweezers slip off the hair. Meaning, I did not need to keep grabbing the same hair. The time it usually takes to pluck cut that in half. Because these tweezers have awesome precision I have ever seen in a pair of tweezers. Just by picking them up I could tell they were quality made. Not too heavy but definitely not light. They also fit very nicely when holding them. And the best part is there stainless steel. Meaning they will never discolor, or get rusty! I am very happy with these tweezers & definitely recommend them.

My Review For The Lumbar Back Support Cushion, Contoured Memory Foam Pillow For Chair Or Car | Corrects Posture & Eases Lower Back Pain | Includes Carry Handle, Travel Case & Elastic Extension!!!

This back cushion is very nice, comfy & has a strap so it don't slide every time you move just the slightest.. I love that!!!,

When this deluxe lumbar back support cushion arrived, there was no waiting I needed to see if it would help with the issues I have been having. First of all this cushion comes in a mesh like carrying bag. Which is quite nice so when I travel I can take it with me instead of trying to shove it in my suitcase. When I pulled the cushion out, I immediately noticed that the cover of the cushion was sown nicely! Which that's always the first thing I look at. Most times cushions are poorly sown & end up fraying after a short period of use. Plus when machine washing covers they end up coming apart, regardless if I put them in a pillowcase or not. So that was a HUGE plus!

I then realized its double layered meaning its truly a 3D mesh cover with little holes to allow air to flow through so you don't hot & will keep your back cool. It keeps my back cool, I am a sweater and my backside is usually the worse. I love how the sides of the cushion are raised so it dips in the center. What I mean by this is, the sides of the cushion hug your sides while your back is secured and straight. The cover also has a zipper which will allow me to take the memory foam out and wash it. I love that concept! The contoured memory foam is just that, its nice and durable, & bounces right back after use. Memory foam is one of my favorites because its not too hard or too soft & allows great comfort. Almost like leaning back into a cloud!

Now I look forward to sitting, I can place this back cushion anywhere. Lastly this lumbar back cushion comes with an adjustable strap. Which is nice, because it allows me to put it over the back of any chair. And I am able to tighten it to be a snug fit. It doesn't slide up in down, which all the others I have tried would never stay in place. But this one does, I don't have to constantly re adjust or anything. Which is really nice! I definitely recommend this pillow to anyone in the market looking to purchase something like this. You will be just as happy as I am!

My Review For The Visual Scare Eye Glowing Owl - 15.5 Inch Owl Scarecrow with Solar Glowing Eyes!!!

This Owl not only looks great on my front porch, but it also scarred the squirrels away(at least in the front yard anyway).,

I purchased this product at a discounted rate, in exchange for my honest & unbiased review! I had 2 reasons I wanted this Owl 1) I recently moved, & I noticed that there was a squirrel problem. I never realized the damage a squirrel could do when there's way to many of them! I am talking every morning at least 4 on my porch and a couple in the trees, some on my roof and my garage. I've honestly never seen so many! I also noticed there digging a hole on my house, which is a huge problem. This is why I took the opportunity to give this Owl a try to see if it could scare them away. 2) I thought it would be a nice addition to my yard.

When it arrived I was really amazed at how realistic the owl looked. And I was really surprised at how light weight it was. I took the owl out of the package to find it has 2 pieces of metal on the bottom which each has a hole! They slide so you can position the owl where you would like to put it. I also noticed it came with 2 screws which I didn't end up using only because they were super small! They probably would work but with how windy it can get I didn't want to take the chance of it blowing away! So I got 2 roofing nails out which are really long and strong. I then went to open up the bottom to put batteries in, BUT to my surprise there was a green battery inside already. I then noticed there wasn't 2, but there are 2 slots for 2 batteries. That's when I looked at the paper that came with the Owl. I thought they forgot to put the 2sd one in. Which the paper states it only needs 1 Ni-MH AA rechargeable battery & that the other compartment is inactive! Meaning this only requires 1 battery! Also on the bottom there is a On & Off switch. Which is also very nice! So I then put it in place. I chose my porch because that's where my problems are with the squirrels. At night the Owl looks so realistic and so neat looking!

I put the Owl up 9 days ago to be exact! I have not seen any squirrels. BUT there still in my backyard so I am thinking I need another Owl to put back there, or maybe I should move it to my backyard to see if they disappear or go back to my front yard. I honestly don't mind them being back there as there is nothing they can ruin, my biggest issue was them digging into my siding on my porch. Which now I have to fix! Overall I have to say the Owl did its duty & I am glad I had the chance to snag it at a discounted rate! I definitely recommend this to anyone who is having similar issues as I was having or looking for a nice piece of decor for your yard!
